Thought Forms and Consciousness
The section below is taken from "Clearing the Way to Higher Consciousness" by Frank Jordan (copyright 1989, PSI_TRONICS Publishing; 4th Edition, 1994).
In the process of learning metaphysics, I learned Physics; for everything
that is physical has a metaphysical counterpart, right down to the basic
laws of physics.
Scientists have determined four fundamental laws of physics; the weak
nuclear force, the strong nuclear force, gravity, and electromagnetism.
I have found that the counterparts of these are: Desire, Will, Attraction,
and Expression. Binding and holding the form of theses forces is a fifth
force: Consciousness.
Consciousness, or the living mind of the Universe, holds all matter in form and makes the physical and metaphysical laws work. Pioneers in quantum physics and biochemistry have recently begun to recognize and understand these Metaphysical forces and are attempting to incorporate them into the framework of science.
