Access the theta level of consciousness

The DIVINING ORACLE is not a dowsing tool.  Dowsing tools evolved to locate things exterior to the body, such as water, minerals, animals, and food.  Slow reacting directional tools were all that was needed, and the conscious mind participated in the activity by pulling up known information that could easily override the subconscious, intuitive mind.

DIVINING evolved from our ancestors need to access inner and expanded consciousness to obtain information, both spiritual and practical. Very sensitive Divining tools were developed which allowed the subconscious to deliver subtle signals that by-passed the attention of the conscious mind. As an extension of themselves, the tools helped the diviner to tune into the subtle realms of nature and spirit.

The DIVINING ORACLE functions as an extension of the person using it, rather than an appendage.  It fits snugly and naturally on the underside of the hand, with the butt centered in the base of the palm.  The shaft exits the palm between the middle fingers, and when totally relaxed, the natural curve of the fingers holds the cross bar in place.  The bead ahead of the cross bar can be slid between the fingers, or ahead of the fingers, which helps to make a comfortable, natural grip.  The shaft extends forward, parallel to the ground, and gravity draws the pendulum down to exactly the neutral point on the axis of the swing.

Do not grip the cross bars! The arm must be totally relaxed, with only enough tension in the arm and hand to hold the Divining Oracle in position.  This is the secret of the Divining Oracle.  The wrist does not move.  The “DO” is so perfectly balanced that incredibly subtle movement of the entire lower arm operates it.  Only the subconscious mind can do this! It works very well with the hand resting or the arm of a chair. A small amount is of tension is necessary in the arm so the subconscious can operate the DO.

A mental impulse, or desire, is directed to the pendulum to start it moving in the up and down neutral, or ready, position, as the subconscious mind responds to your need for information. To program yourself to use the DO, tell your subconscious mind that you want a clockwise motion of the pendulum to be your “Yes” answer, and intentionally move the pointer in a clockwise motion.  Then, return to the neutral position.  Now, direct the pendulum to move in a counterclockwise motion for your “No” answer.  Practice this until you can move through the responses until is becomes a natural extension of your desire without having to think about it. You can also count with the DO; times, distance, amounts, and do percentages or other information from a chart.

Ask some questions that have yes and no answers, and practice until the response in automatic.  Now you are ready to draw responses from you subconscious mind. Ask questions that can be validated, but don’t work too hard at it.  If you stress yourself with wrong answers, you can create a fear and performance anxiety block. If that happens, lay the tool aside for a while, and come back to it.  Remember, the subconscious mind responds to your intent, not your mental verbiage, so disassociate from the tool as much as possible when asking questions.

A good practice is to sit in your recliner or a chair with arm rests watching TV.  Hold the tool lightly; don’t grip it, with your hand either just beyond the armrest, or resting on it.  Tune into the program and pose questions in your mind about what is going to happen, or who the culprit is, and glance at the DO. It will be following your conscious mind and answering even as the questions rise in your mind.  Many times this tool will respond from just your intent to ask a question.

CARE OF THE DIVINING ORACLE

Before using the DO always make sure the parts are turned tightly together.  Brass loosens up very easily, and it is easy to loose parts.  The spring can be “sprung” so don’t bend it around too tightly.

Dowsing is done mostly in the Beta and Alpha levels of brain wave activity. In the Beta level, 13-30 Hz, the mind is fully aware of the pendulum activity, and contributing information to the response. Here is where vested interest, preconception, and conscious control can cause error in dowsing response.

To access the Alpha level the dowser takes a deep breath and intentionally moves his awareness back out of Beta activity by dropping his brainwave activity into the 8-13 Hz level This is the natural resting state of the mind when not responding to stimuli. Here he has access to the subconscious mind and extended consciousness, but is still subjective to overriding by to conscious mind. Even giving attention to the movements of a pendulum is enough to pull the mind up into the higher brainwaves.

The DIVINING ORACLE operates best in the Theta level of 4-7 Hz which appears while dreaming, or in the hypnogogic or hypnopompic states—those half awake states just before or after sleep, (golden time) or in self hypnotism. This is where access to unconscious material, inspiration, or deep meditation occurs.  The Theta level, with just a minimum amount of combination with Alpha and Beta, is where all pure psychic activity and access to expanded consciousness occurs.

I have discovered that by practicing with the Chakra Clearing Meditation tape we are able to access Theta and hold it. The tones of the 2nd and 3rd Chakra Level hold you in Theta. The meditation unifies all the Chakra and brain wave levels, and allows highly accurate dowsing or divining.  All exceptional dowsers have this ability, and I require this skill level of anyone who participates in the Dowsing Search and Rescue Society. Also, it is an excellent tool for map dowsing, treasure hunting, or any request for information.
